Notification of procurement of emergency off-site backup and disaster recovery services from Layer 3 in the amount of $145,488.00. 

These services were used by the Department of Information Technology to provide connectivity, storage, and monitored services at a secure data center location outside of the Savannah area. This will provide resiliency for the restoration of data and services in the occurrence of a significant cyber event. 

This vendor was selected due to its immediate availability, its ability to provide the necessary tools, equipment, and software, and the fact that it holds the current contract for managed network services, and is willing to extend its management services to the City assets in this secure data center location.
