The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to Execute a Four Year Sponsorship Agreement with the RBC Heritage of Golf Tournament for $129,000. The Savannah Airport Commission requests approval to renew its sponsorship for the annual RBC Heritage Golf Tournaments by execution of a new Sponsorship Agreement. The term of the Agreement will be effective for four years, beginning January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2023. The Commission will pay a fee of $31,500 for each of the 2020 and 2021 Tournaments and $33,000 for each of the 2022 and 2023 Tournaments.

This sponsorship allows the Savannah Airport Commission to market both the Savannah Hilton-Head International Airport, and the broader region to air-service network routing planners.  This successful partnership has helped to attract Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country, and Air Canada to the airport. The increased airline vendors benefits our citizens by connecting them with new destinations for air travel.
