Recommend approval to procure contract for a portable basketball floor system from Connor Sports (5445 W. Harold Gatty Dr. Salt Lake City, UT) in the amount of $165,612.

The portable basketball floor will be used in the Enmarket Arena for basketball events. The floor is 60'x120' maple quicklock system manufacturedy by Connor Sports. The Floor will be sanded and finished with standard graphics package (painted border, keys center circle logo, baseline lettering). Connor Sports will provide a technical supervisor for the initial installation, and a one year warranty.  

Connor Sports founded in 1872, and one of the market leaders in portable and permanent hardwood sports flooring systems. Connor Sports is the official supplier of March Madness, the NCAA Final Four since 2006, and supply the Bucks with their game and practice courts. 

This purchase will be made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell (contract number 060518-CSC).  Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance.

This contract was competitively bid and awarded by Sourcewell. The contract is effective through August 7,2022.
