Description

Russell Goeken on Behalf of Habersham Development, LLC is requesting approval of a Special Use Permit at 3129 Bull Street to establish accessory alcohol sales within a restaurant in the TC-1 (Traditional Commercial) zoning district. The restaurant use is permitted by right, and accessory alcohol sales require a Special Use Permit within the TC-1 zoning district.

The subject property is located on Bull Street between Clifford and W. 48th streets, and it includes a concrete one-story commercial building with three commercial units facing Bull Street.

If approved, the petitioner will be required to submit an alcoholic beverage application which will be considered at a future Council meeting by Mayor and Aldermen. 

 

Recommendation

On August 15, 2023, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Special Use Permit at 3129 Bull Street for Russell Goeken on behalf of Habersham Development, LLC, under the following conditions:

  1. The Special Use Permit shall be nontransferable.

  2. Only beer and wine shall be served.

  3. Operational hours shall be:

  • Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and
  • Friday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
