Title
19. Motion to Procure a Parking Revenue Control System (PARCS) from Carolina Time & Equipment.
Strategic Priority
Infrastructure
Description

The Savannah Airport Commission recommends to procure a parking revenue control system (PARCS) from Carolina Time & Equipment in the amount of $769,575.00.

The PARCS System is the accounting, revenue and control system used to manage the Airport’s parking. The current parking system has reached the end of its life cycle. The system was initially installed by Standard Parking under its service agreement to manage the Airport’s Parking Operations. After reclaiming the internal management of parking operations, the airport has invested in several upgrades to enhance system operations and efficiency. Although the system remains functional, the increasing age of many critical components, and the need to provide better customer processing capabilities, warrants a complete system replacement.

An RFP for the PARCS System replacement was submitted and five proposals were received. The proposal that best meets the needs of the airport was submitted by Carolina Time.

The following proposals were received:

Carolina Time & Equipment                            Charlotte, NC

ITR of Georgia, Inc.                                         Tucker, GA

T2 Systems, Inc.                                              Indianapolis, IN

DESIGNA Access Corporation                        Westmont, IL

Hub Parking Technology                                 Warrendale, PA
