The two (2) Flex-Wing mowers will be assigned to the Airport’s Airfield Department. The new units will replace two (2) of SAC’s current units that have reached the end of their life cycle. The Commission advertised a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from August 15 – September 15, 2023. There were seven bids received.  As a result of the responses, Hendrix Machinery, Inc. submitted the lowest bid response meeting all specifications and requirements. These units are 2023 budgeted items of $55,000.
