This is for the approval of sports equipment from Ridell All American Sports, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $81,900. The Recreational and Leisure Services Division will utilize the sports equipment for the athletic sports programs and youth football teams. The items include helmets and pads and are being purchased as part of the City’s Recreation Reimagined initiative to improve recreation programs and services to the public. The additional sports equipment will allow the City to better support our volunteer coaches and teams by helping to reduce the cost of equipment. Major reusable inventory will remain the property of the City of Savannah and will be distributed to teams participating in the City’s youth sports program for use during the season, with storage and maintenance managed by the Recreation and Leisure Services Department where appropriate.

Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services using a Cooperative Contract. The contract used for this procurement is Omnia Partners c/o Ridell All American Sports, Inc., Contract# R201102 for Athletic, Physical Education Supplies, and Team Uniforms, and it expires September 30, 2024.
