The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of a contract with Johnson Controls to install the proximity readers and related equipment on airline ticket counter office doors. The total amount approved by the Commission on October 4, 2017, is $53,145.09. 

Johnson Controls is a sole source provider for the Airport's proprietary system and will provide material, labor, programming and testing of all equipment to add proxy readers on the airline ticket counter office doors. The purpose of this contract is to allow secured access to the airline offices for the new baggage handling ticket counter access panels. Access to the baggage handling access panels is required to reset the bag belt in case of jams or faults.
