The City of Savannah condemned a portion of the project formerly known as Savannah River Landing for the widening of the Bilbo Canal.  The City initially deposited $819,182.00 as the assumed value of the property into the registry of the court. 

The former owner of the land, MMA/PSP Savannah River, LLC, contested the City's valuation.  The City has settled the litigation for a total value of $1,200,000 for the condemned property, subject to Council approval. 

This will result in an additional payment to the former owner of $380,818.
