| Description Recommend approval to renew and amend an annual contract for the City Wide HVAC Maintenance from Edge Air Conditioning in the amount of $211,400.00. This contract is used to maintain HVAC systems Citywide. There are several facility air conditioning systems throughout the City that will require repairs and/or replacements in 2019, and approval is sought to renew the agreement for an additional year and increase the contract amount from $83,400.00 to $211,400.00 based on increased need. This contract is used in emergency situations to repair or replace parts on HVAC units as well as chillers, ice machines, and commercial refrigerators. Edge Air Conditioning & Refrigeration also has specialized equipment that is needed to repair and program City buildings with automation. Bids were originally received on May 23, 2017. This contract was originally approved by Council on July 20, 2017. This is the first of three renewal options available. The contract term will be from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. | |
