Recommend approval of Amendment No. 3 for the downtown streetscapes design services to EDSA in the amount of $86,256.00.

The original contract was for comprehensive planning, design, pre-construction, construction administration, and closeout services for the Downtown Streetscape Improvement Initiative. The corridors originally included in the contract were from Liberty Street to the Savannah River and from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to East Broad Street. The RFP stated that the City could retain the selected team for additional phases of this project. 

This amendment is needed to provide revised documents as requested by the City of Savannah to assist with phasing of Broughton Street Streetscape Improvement and allow the project to be implemented based on the current budget.  As part of the work, the EDSA team will revise the necessary construction documents including specifications for permit and implementation to include all site related drawings and specifications for the work included for Phase 1, which is from the curb to the face of the buildings.

The original contract was approved by Council on August 18, 2016 in the amount of $2,165,341.80. The total amount of this contract to date, including this amendment, is $2,348,497.80.
