| Description Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal of an annual contract with CarbPure Technologies, LLC. for powdered activated carbon in the estimated amount of $253,200. This contract will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to insure adequate supplies of Activated Carbon of the proper quality for pretreatment of drinking water. Activated carbon is used at the Raw Water Impoundment for the control of tastes, odors and algae. No DBE goal was established for this event due to due to absence of sub-contracting opportunities. This is the first of three renewal options available. The contract term shall be January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. | |
