This contract is to procure two (2) 56-foot aerial bucket trucks from Altec Industries, Inc. in the amount of $336,496. The Park and Tree Department will use the 56-foot bucket trucks daily to perform routine tree maintenance. The two (2) bucket trucks will be replacing vehicles #1211 and #9256 which have reached the end of their useful life and are no longer economical to maintain. 

The lowest, responsible, responsive bidder Altec Industries, Inc. was at a cost of $168,248 per unit with a total of $336,496 for two (2) units. The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
