Title
32. Approval to Procure a Common Use Passenger Processing System from Infax, Inc., in the Amount of $409,009.
Strategic Priority
Good Government
Description

A Common Use Passenger System (CUPPS) is a software platform that facilitates the sharing of existing airport customer processing equipment, such as check-in kiosks, bag tag printers, boarding gate readers, and other hardware by airlines. By sharing systems, the Airlines benefit from lower costs, while the airport gains more flexibility to change gate assignments in real-time. The project will consist of the installation, commissioning, training, and support of (12) ticketing/check-in positions, (8) gate positions, and all supporting infrastructure. The CUPPS System requires detailed integration and will be an extension of the existing Flight Information Display System (FIDS). Therefore, this is a sole source purchase as we are adding equipment to an existing system.
