CITY MANAGER’S BRIEFING
May 11, 2017 – 11:00 a.m.
Presentations and explanations of services of the Summer Youth Programs were given by the following indidivuals:

Eileen Bakes, Cultural Affairs Director
Barry Baker
Sala Menaya, Savannah Impact Program Director
The Savannah Shines Implementation Program Presentation was given by the following individuals:
Taffanye Young, Community Planning and Development Bureau Chief
Martin Fretty, Housing Director
Gene Prevatt introduced Kimberly Corbin, Property Maintenance Director
Star Cpl Trace Walden, SCMPD
Assistant City Attorney Denise Cooper
City Manager Hernandez suggested a Derelict Property Ordinance to make owners responsible for their properties
Alderman Bell requested quarterly progress from Ms. Corbin on how Property Maintenance is doing on the 2100 properties
Upon motion of Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Durrence, and unanimously carried Council went into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing Litigation and Real Estate.
Upon completion of this session, a motion was made to come out of Executive Session by Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Durrence, and unanimously carried.
