Notification of Emergency Procurement of Replacement Motor at I&D Plant (Event No. 5100)
Recommend approval to procure and install a replacement motor for the distribution pump from TAW Georgia Service Centers in the amount of $39,986.46. A replacement motor was needed at the Industrial and Domestic Water Plant (I&D) when the previous motor was submerged following a flood caused by a 48-inch distribution main failure.
TAW Georgia Service Centers was selected because it was the first available vendor to respond immediately.
