| Description Recommend approval of an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Savannah and Chatham County for the lease of a City-owned facility at 2203 Abercorn Street for use as the Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC). The City will lease facility to the County at a nominal rate of $1 per year as a part of the City’s contribution to the MARC program. The MARC will use evidence-based screenings and referrals to divert at-risk youth from the juvenile justice system into appropriate and meaningful services that will lead to better outcomes for youth, their families and community safety. The MARC is a cross-agency partnership including the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Chatham County Juvenile Court System, Savannah Police, Chatham County Police, Chatham County District Attorney's Office, St. Joseph’s/ Candler Hospital System, and others. | |
