| Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 with Johnson-Laux Construction in the amount of $64,880.43 for Phase 1 of the Central Precinct project, which includes site and infrastructure work. This contract modification is needed to cover costs related to remediation of unsuitable soils found on the project site, including the removal of the soils, removal and disposal of miscellaneous debris below grade, and to import, grade, and compact new soils. The original contract was approved by Council on December 7, 2017 in the amount of $1,433,532.08. The total contract amount to date, including this modification, is $1,498,412.51. Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 for the Central Precinct site and civil work contract with Johnson-Laux Construction in the amount of $64,880.43. | |
