| Description The Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) Annual Family Engagement Day Event: "Books, Blankets and Family Fun" will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Daffin Park. This event will include many family friendly events including: the appearance of Super Heroes and Story-book Mascots, games, activities, entertainment, face painting, etc. Food trucks will also be on site along with baked treats. Prizes will be awarded to the schools with the highest participation:
In addition to the daily involvement of families in education, occasions like “Books, Blankets, and Family Fun” provide an opportunity to demonstrate and celebrate the efforts of the SCCPSS and the community to accomplish the mission of the school systems: "To ignite a passion for learning and teaching at high levels." | |
