| Description Recommend approval to procure a long reach excavator from Grove River Machinery, Inc. in the amount of $296,775.00. The Fleet Services Department is requesting these excavators for the Public Works and Water Resources Department. This excavator will replace an existing unit that has reached the end of its useful life and is no longer economical to repair. The machine will be used to maintain the large drainage canals in the City. The annual maintenance of the canals ensures proper drainage and reduces the incidents of flooding during rain events. This procurement supports the adopted Council infrastructure priority, specifically, Goal 2.4 - Street Flooding. No DBE goal was established for this event due to the absence of subcontracting opportunity. | |
