The Savannah Exchange Club Fair Association Inc. d/b/a the Coastal Empire Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Fair”) has requested a Short Term License to use the City-owned property at 4801 Meding Street (site of former Fairgrounds) for a 30-day period from October 20, 2018 through November 18, 2018 to hold the 2018 Fair. The Fair has agreed to pay a license fee of $32,500.00 (inclusive of electric charge) and assume all liability and indemnifications for use of the property. The Fair will provide its own security, a certificate of required insurance, and also post a $5,000.00 refundable repair deposit in the event any damages or cleanup issues result from use.

The Fair is a nonprofit organization that uses proceeds generated by the event to support charitable causes in the community.
