| Description The Microsoft Office 365 agreement was originally approved by the purchase board, however due to additional subscriptions and services, the agreement has exceeded the purchase board threshold and needs Commission approval. Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based software platform that provides email access and editing software such as Office, Word, and Excel. A subscription is needed for each user accessing these resources. This is a sole source purchase because we are renewing an existing service. The request for renewal is for a five-year period.
