23. Authorize the City Manager to Approve the Third Amendment to a Lease with T-Mobile at 29 Sapelo Road. T-Mobile will pay an increase of $500 per month for the modifications, staff resources providing access, and time and effort of this amendment.

Description

T-Mobile South LLC (T-Mobile) currently pays an annual rental rate of $59,550.25 for placement of telecommunication equipment on the City’s Water Tank at 29 Sapelo Road on Wilmington Island. The tenant is seeking to modify current equipment at the lease premises. T-Mobile will pay an increase of $500 per month for the modifications, staff resources providing access, and time and effort of this amendment. Upon approval and execution of the Amendment, the annual rental rate will be adjusted to $65,550.25 and prorated for the remainder of the current term year.

This third amendment to the lease has been reviewed by Real Estate Services and Public Works & Water Resources Department. Equipment installation is in accordance with approvals and attached as Exhibit B-2 to the third Amendment. Equipment installation shall be coordinated with the City’s Water Department. No other terms or conditions will change.
