| Title 27. Motion to Award Construction Contract for Bacon Park Reuse Water Main and Pumping Station to BRW Construction Group, LLC (Event No. 5718) | |

| Description Recommend approval to procure construction services from BRW Construction Group, LLC in the amount of $6,589,000.00. The construction services will be used by the Water and Sewer Planning and Engineering Department to install approximately 29,000 linear feet of new 16-inch-diameter reuse water main from the President Street Water Reclamation Facility to the Bacon Park Golf Course. This contract shall also include improvements to the reuse water pumping facilities at the President Street facility. Ten bidders were prequalified for this event through an RFSQ process. Notifications were sent to all 10 prequalified bidders, and two submitted responses. This project included an MWBE goal of 14% (9% MBE and 5% WBE). The recommended bidder submitted participation in the amount of 30% MWBE. MBE participation will be in the amount of 9% using Frankie Thompson Enterprise Inc. WBE participation will be in the amount of 21% using D&C Directional Boring, LLC in the amount of 18%, and J.A.M. Electrical Co., Inc. in the amount of 3%. | |
