Description

Zoning Hearing to consider a request to amend the Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map was continued from May 25 by the City Council for a Traffic Impact Study Report.

The petitioner, Philip R. McCorkle, is requesting approval of an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map for a 1.92-acre property located at 333 West Montgomery Crossroad to change the land use from Residential-General to Commercial-Suburban.

This request is in conjunction with the recommendation by the Planning Commission to rezone the property located at 333 West Montgomery Crossroad from P-R-M-12 (Planned, Multifamily Residential, 12 units per net acre) to B-N (Neighborhood Business) (File No. 17-001825-ZA) for the development of a fast-food restaurant.  Approving this request will make the Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map consistent with the property's zone change from Residential-General to Commercial-Suburban.
