Motion to Procure Traffic Signal Poles from Olympica Transportation Products (Event No. 5172)
Recommend approval to procure traffic signal poles, mast arms, and luminaire arms from Olympica Transportation Products in the amount of $52,000.00.
The Traffic Engineering Department will use the equipment for the installation of a new traffic signal at Jimmy DeLoach Parkway and Highlands Boulevard and for the traffic signal upgrade at Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Oglethorpe Avenue.
The new signal installation at Jimmy DeLoach Parkway and Highlands Boulevard is projected to begin and be completed during the third quarter of 2017. The signal upgrade at Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Oglethorpe Avenue is scheduled to take place during the fourth quarter of 2017.
