Motion to Procure Dell R730 Servers from Zones Inc. (Event No. 5066)
Recommend approval to purchase Power Edge R730 Servers from Zones Inc. in the amount of $44,087.85.
The Power Edge R730 Servers will be used by the Information Technology Department as part of the data center relocation. The five Dell R730 physical servers will be set up in a virtual server environment and used to migrate over 140 virtual servers to the Critical Workforce Facility site.
The apparent low bidder was not selected because it did not meet specifications for the requested equipment as stated in the invitation to bid.
