Motion to Renew Annual Contract for Liquid Aluminum Sulfate with Chemtrade (Event No. 4340)
Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for liquid aluminum sulfate with ChemTrade Chemicals US, LLC in the amount of $338,200.00. The liquid aluminum sulfate is used by the Industrial and Domestic Water Department in the treatment process. Due to rising freight costs for raw materials, the vendor requested a $10.00 per dry ton increase, and the Industrial and Domestic Water Department accepted. The contract term will be from July 21, 2017 through July 20, 2018.
