| Description Recommend approval to award Contract Amendment No. 1 to Elert and Associates in the amount of $28,400.00. The original contract was for an appraisal of existing information technology services, and this modification is needed by the Savannah Police Department to evaluate its existing information technology services as well. Effective and modern policing requires updated technology. A strategic plan will drive technology-based decisions toward crime reduction, more community engagement, transparency, and accountability. This will ultimately make Savannah a safer city. The project included an overall M/WBE goal of 9% (9% MBE and 0% WBE). Based on the proposed schedule of M/WBE participation submitted by the awarded proposer, the overall M/WBE participation is 35% MBE using Innovative IT, LLC. The original contract was approved by Council on January 4, 2018 in the amount of $62,800.00. The total amount of this contract to date, including this amendment, will be $91,200.00. The second highest ranked proposer was Plante & Moran in the amount of $84,600.00. | |
