| Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 1 for the Flygt Pump Repairs with Xylem Water Solutions USA in the amount of $200,000. The original contract was for repairs on Flygt Pumps. The increase to this contract will cover additional parts and pumps required for the sanitary sewer lift stations. These stations includes pumping, piping, mechanical, electrical, odor control, and failsafe systems. Systems are continuously operated and maintained to prevent station failures that cause wastewater and sewage spills onto City properties, and sewer back-up into City homes and businesses. The City presently has 203 operating lift stations. The original contract was approved by Council on August 30, 2018 in the amount of $350,000. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification is $550,000. | |
