The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to procure a Heavy Duty Cutter Head for the Excavator from Yancey Bros. Company.  This is a 2019 budget item in the amount of $40,000.  The budget amount was based on models available at the time of budget.  Cost increase is due to newer specialized design which will allow SAC Grounds Department to perform the following:

• Utility line clearing and maintenance
• Roadside bush cutting and tree removal
• Building lot development and maintenance
• Retention pond maintenance
• Dam, berm clearing
• Walking trail, RV and snowmobile trail maintenance
• Maintenance of crop tree stands and orchards
• Whole tree removal
• Stump grinding

The following bids were received:
