Description

Staff issued a request for proposals to identify a firm to provide a comprehensive identity management system to be used in the airport credentialing office.  Five (5) proposals were received ranging in price from $249,763 to $610,000.  GCR, Inc. was interviewed and was determined to meet all of the requirements of the RFP.  GCR is a recognized airport business partner in the development and support of various aviation management platforms throughout the industry.  The identity management software is currently deployed at 18 airports in the US ranging in size from non-hub to large hub facilities.  Identity management software will be a critical part of the record-keeping process as required by the TSA.  The software platform will allow tenant users to access and manage the credentialing and badge approval process with their respective employee groups and will provide automated alerting functions to notify users of upcoming badge renewal requirements.  The software will also allow the credential office to transition from a paper record-keeping system to a fully digital system.  The compensation to be paid to GCR is as follows:

Year 1 Fixed Investment: $249,763 (Includes Hardware, Software, Implementation, and Training)

Year 2: $65,222

Year 3: $67,178

This is a 2020 budgeted item, and the installation is funded with PFC dollars.
