| Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No.1 for street repair and resurfacing with Savannah River Utilities Co. in the amount of $290,000. This contract is used by Streets Maintenance to repair and resurface damaged roads throughout the City. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, areas throughout the city experienced minimal traffic flow and no congestion. This allowed for the expedition of needed street maintenance during the first and second quarter of 2020. The modification is needed to complete the street resurfacing on Burroughs Street and Vernonburg Road, which will complete the 2020 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant for this year. The original contract was awarded by Council on February 27, 2020 in the amount of $2,218,699.67. The total amount of the contract including this modification is $2,508,699.67 | |
