Recommend approval to award annual contract for transportation services to JLM Transport Services, Inc. in the amount of $17.00 per round trip for a total amount not to exceed budgeted amount of $92,000.00.

If awarded, the first term of this contract will be from July 6, 2017 through December 31, 2017 and the cost of the first term will be in the estimated amount of $53,065.84. A round trip includes picking up seniors from home and transporting them to the Golden Age Center and returning them home at the end of program. These services will be used by the Parks and Recreation Services Department to provide 5,411 round trips annually. If approved, the estimated number of round trips to be taken in 2017 is 3,122. In 2018, the estimated number of round trips is 5,411.
