Staff recommends approval to declare the City-owned real property located at 415 E. Waldburg Street (PIN: 2-0044-29-001) as surplus and available for sale to the public.

The parcel is a vacant lot (30 feet by 115 feet) located at the southwest corner of Waldburg Street and Price Street. The Petitioner is seeking to acquire the vacant lot for development with a new house. This petition has been reviewed by Development Services, the Bureau of Public Works and Water Resources, and Real Property Services.  Staff recommends approval to declare the property surplus and available for sale to the public.

If this matter is approved, staff will procure a current appraisal of the market value of the property.  Staff would also issue a request for proposals and market the property for sale to the public.   The highest responsible bid will be submitted to City Council for review/approval.
