The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to execute a Letter of Engagement with the Vaquer Firm, LLC for Governmental Affairs Services, in the amount of $60,000.00. The Commission originally approved a letter of engagement with the Vaquer Firm, LLC in 2016 and renewed for an additional year in 2017 in the amount of $48,000.00. The renewal in 2017 included a provision for extending the contract for three additional one-year terms. Over the years, a variety of issues have emerged which increased Mr. Vaquer’s scope of services and engagement. Mr. Vaquer provides governmental affairs services to the Savannah Airport Commission for the purposes of state and local legislative issues to include identification and tracking of state legislation related to airports and all aviation related activity, intergovernmental issues at the state and local level, and other governmental and regulatory issues as they may arise.
