Notification of the emergency procurement of HVAC chiller rentals from Johnson Controls, Inc. in the amount of $37,603.50.

During recent graduation ceremonies at the Civic Center, City staff discovered that only two of the eight air handlers were functioning properly. While the air handlers were being repaired, two portable air handlers and a portable chiller were rented from Johnson Controls, Inc. to provide the additional air conditioning capacity to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This vendor was selected because it was the first available to immediately respond with the necessary equipment.
