| Description The Savannah Airport Commission publicly advertised for bids for the purchase and installation of seven (7) new Passenger Boarding Bridges. The proposals were due by June 13, 2023. A pre-proposal conference was held on May 16, 2023, where the scope of the work of the project was presented to the attendees. Two firms submitted proposals. These bridges have exceeded their useful life and will be replacing gates 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. The project will be funded with future Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) monies and was approved in this year’s budget in the amount of $7,000,000.
The bidders are: (D) John Bean Technologies Corporation (JBT), Ogden, UT $6,407,622 (D) TK Airport Solutions, Fort Worth, TX $7,939,149
