Description

This contract is for the procurement of a public portal and data integration software and an annual maintenance agreement with CI Technologies, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $66,000. The Savannah Police Department will utilize the public portal and data integration software to run on the current IAPro (Office of Professional Standards) platform. The public portal will allow the public to submit complaints/commendations through an online portal, as well as allow citizens to follow up on previous complaints they have made against officers.

The data integration will allow the system to collect information from incidents entered into existing Blue Team and IAPro software, and create early warning/alert systems. These programs will further the goals of department transparency and officer accountability by streamlining the citizen complaint process and automatically alerting the department when officers meet certain thresholds for things such as the use of force, accidents, and complaints.

The cost is $30,000 for the IAPro Public Portal, $30,000 for the IAPro Data Integration, and $6,000 for the 12-month IAPro license for a first-year total of $66,000. This project is fully funded by grants. This is a sole source procurement because these are additional items being added to the current IAPro software that SPD currently utilizes.

The vendor is:
S.S. CI Technologies, Inc. (Townsend, MA)(D)                $66,000

A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as this is a sole source. (D) Indicates a non-local, non-DBE-owned business.
