Description

Recommend approval of Contract Modification No.1 in the amount of $33,000 and the annual contract renewal (FY2021) for up to $102,857 for demolition services with JCS Associates & Company.

The original contract was for emergency and court ordered demolition of structures throughout the City. The demolition services of this contract have been made available to all city departments. This modification is needed to increase the contract to allow the Code Compliance Department to demolish structures as required for the remainder of the year.

The original contract was approved by Council on November 7, 2019 in the amount of $102,857. The total amount of the contract to date, including this modification is $135,857.
