Description

Recommend approval to procure a crime scene mobile command vehicle from Custom Truck and Body Works, Inc. in the amount of $171,845. The Police Department’s Forensics and Criminal Investigation Units will use the vehicle as a mobile command center to analyze crime scenes throughout the City.

This vehicle will replace unit #5453, which has reached its end of life and is no longer economical to maintain.

Event No. 7016 was originally awarded by Council on June 6, 2019. The specifications for this bid included an option to purchase additional units until December 31, 2020 at the same cost.
