Recommend approval to procure pickup trucks from Alan Jay Automotive Management in the amount of $349,970.  These pickup trucks will be used by the Fleet Services Department to replace or additions to the following departments:

  • Fire Rescue– Unit #7506
  • Sewer Maintenance – Units #0818 & #7280
  • Stormwater Management – Unit #4229
  • Regional Plants – Units #4825 & 6827
  • Signal & Street – Unit #6279
  • Facility Maintenance & Operations – Unit #6624
  • City Cemeteries – Unit #7228
  • Code Enforcement – Unit #7330
  • Street Maintenance – Unit #0215
  • President Street Plant – Units #5838 & 5843

Fleet Addition(s):

  • Greenscapes Division – 2 New Vehicles (Approved via 2019 Service Enhancement Request)

This project was not identified as an SBE project because the requirement of three certified SBEs could not be met at the time this bid was released.
