Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute an annual contract with Beers Housing, Inc. for Securing Structures in the estimated amount of $60,000. This contract will be used by the Code Compliance Department to address unsecure/unsafe structures throughout the City of Savannah, when property owners fail to respond to notice. When this service is used, the property owner of record is billed. If the property owner does not provide payment, the City will assess a lien against the property.

This project was identified as an SBE project; however, no SBE firms submitted a bid so the event was extended to all bidders.

The contract term shall be from July 2, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
