The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of a contract with Infax, Inc. for $137,241.96 for baggage claim display upgrades. 

The current displays were installed with the original FIDS system and have reached the end of their life cycle. The upgrade will include the installation of one 75-inch commercial flat panel LCD/LED monitor, 19 55-inch commercial flat panel LCD/LED monitors, 16 digital display controllers for all 19 LCD/LEDs, and 11 PC enclosures of 55-inch stainless steel finish displays. The new displays will be ceiling mounted and installed over the existing baggage carousels.  The baggage claim displays are used by the airlines to communicate baggage pick-up information to arriving passengers. This is a sole source purchase, as Infax is the manufacture of the current FIDS system.
