| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for various hand tools to Millworks & Supply, Inc. in the amount of $11,440.06 and to MSC Industrial Supply in the amount of $32,802.08, for a grand total amount of $44,242.14. The hand tools are stocked at the Central Warehouse and are distributed for use to various City departments. The hand tools are grouped by categories of like items and are awarded as such (Shovels & Rakes, Hammers, etc.). The specifications state that industrial quality tools are a requirement. The low bidder that met specifications was selected for each category. Matco Tools was not selected for any of the line items because the vendor does not meet specifications for delivery time. The contract term shall be from January 31, 2019 through January 30, 2020. | |
