Recommend approval to procure upgrade and migration services from Infor Global Solutions in the estimated amount of $567,212.00. Lawson is used as the City's general ledger, accounts payable, human resources, purchasing, budgeting, and inventory system software.  This procurement will upgrade the system to the vendor’s current version to provide access to enhanced features, improved security, and better functionality.  Migration to the cloud will eventually reduce operational costs while increasing the effectiveness of IT processes and help keep up with the City’s growing storage needs.

This is a sole source because this vendor is the original provider of this software. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when and if necessary.
