| Description Recommend approval to procure an annual maintenance agreement from Siemens Industry, Inc. in the amount of $47,629.00. The agreement will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to maintain the variable frequency drives used to control pumps for raw water pumping and finished water distribution. This is a sole source because Siemens Industry, Inc. is the manufacturer of the drives that are in place at the plant and is the only company that has factory-trained, equipment-specific technicians. Because of the age and rarity of the equipment in place, a special technician is required to maintain the equipment. The agreement shall be from January 31, 2019 through January 30, 2020. | |
