Recommend approval to award an annual contract for polygraph testing services to Southeastern Resolution Group, LLC in the amount of $52,500.00. This contract will be used by Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department and, upon demerger, the Savannah Police Department to administer polygraph tests to candidates for sworn police officer and police officer trainee positions. It has been documented that the polygraph examinations are highly useful in the applicant investigation process as it deters those seeking to penetrate law enforcement departments. It has also been shown to deter the submission of false and incomplete information by applicants.

The contract term will be from January 18, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
