The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to Procure Services from Altel Systems Group, Inc., in the amount of $82,985.00. Altel Systems Group, Inc. will provide labor and material to upgrade the existing Atlas/IED GlobalCom (Public Address) system currently installed in the airport terminal.  As part of this project ALTEL Systems Group will replace the existing (PA) Dell Servers and associated hardware to the latest GlobalCom IP108 system servers and GlobalCom/ControlKom (GCK) software.  In addition to the server upgrades, ALTEL Systems Group will replace the existing (15) analog Jetway door side kick microphones with the digital 528SK stations, expansion boards, add one (1) 528 series Microphone to Gate 2, Set up and calibration of ambient noise sensors, furnish and install new keyboard drawer assembly with LCD screen, furnish and install all Cat6 cable from gate counters and jetway doors, replace the (12) existing curbside speakers, provide 3 year warranty on all Atlas/IED equipment and comprehensive staff training on GCK for SAC maintenance personnel.

This is a sole source installation due to ALTEL Systems Group Inc. being the sole provider for the current Atlas/IED GlobalCom Public Address System.  This is a 2019 budgeted item for the total project amount of $83,000.00.
