| Description For the last 194 years, the “Savannah Irish” have hosted the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah. This day is in honor of the great works of Saint Patrick. Through the Parade and other Irish celebrations throughout the month of March, the Parade Committee shares their faith, heritage, and family with hundreds of thousands of visitors around the city, state, country and the world! In keeping with Savannah tradition, an appearance will be made by the 2019 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and Chairman, Lawrence “Bubba” Edgerly, to officially request the Parade Permit for 2019. The permit is attached. | |
